How shark finning is Done
Shark finning is the process of capturing and dismembering the limbs of a shark. Once dragged aboard, the fishermen slay off the fins of the shark while it is still alive. Sometimes, they subdue the shark by hitting it or partially decapitating it. They then throw the live shark back into the water. The sharks then sink to the bottom of the ocean where they suffocate to death, die of starvation, or are eaten by other fish. Throughout the entire brutal process, they remain alive.
